THEMIS processed data
We illustrate the kind of processed THEMIS data you will find in our catalogue. JPEG files are on line and FITS files on request (all publicly available).
- MSDP mode :
- Available lines : Hα, NaD1, Ca 8542
- Data levels : Stokes profiles, intensity maps, dopplergrams, magnetograms.
- Maps in the line wing (in this example, at 160 mÅ from line center, NaD1)

- MTR mode :
- Available lines : many lines between 4300 Å and 8700 Å.
- Data levels : clean spectra (i.e. after flat-field and line curvature correction) or Stokes profiles for all positions of the scan (depending on the observation), intensity maps (continuum and line core), dopplergrams and magnetograms, and vector magnetic field maps . The vector magnetic fields are computed using a PCA algorithm for the 630 nm spectral domaine and provides: field strength, azimuth, inclination, filling factor, quality measurements, thermodynamical parameters.
