The "Groupe de Travail Themis" (G2T which stands for "THEMIS Working Group") is a new committee of the "Programme National Soleil Terre" ("Sun & Sun-Earth relationships" national program) of the French INSU/CNRS agencies. Representatives of the Italian and Spanish Themis users will also be asked to participate to the activities of G2T. This committee has been set up in order to improve the communication between THEMIS users and THEMIS director and bodies (SAC, Board of Directors) as well as with the French sponsor (INSU/CNRS); it will operate by issuing practical and realistic recommendations about THEMIS operations, projects and prospective. It will be taken care to have those recommendations fully reflecting what the THEMIS users community requests. In particular, we wish to express views and suggestions in the domain of precise and high spatial resolution polarimetric measurements for which THEMIS was built.
